Sponsorships 2017-18

Dear Sponsors, March 1, 2017

The award winning Grayson Rams High School Band has embarked upon a capital fundraising venture to fill two depleted categories within our association.

First, we are seeking a total of $36,000 for the purchase of new marching band uniforms. Our current uniforms are older than our freshman class of students and are worn to the point of duct tape, safety pins, and patches. To date, we have raised more than $20,000, but, students cannot wear half of a uniform. Won't you please consider a donation towards the "other half" of our uniforms?

Our second capital campaign is set to increase and replace instruments to the "tune" of $50,000.

Through a dedicated initiative, our high school students have spent countless hours in community outreach and middle school music education support. Their efforts have caused the very predictable issue of a marked increase in music education involvement. We have to face the facts, the data, the stats...the middle schoolers are soon to become full-fledged high school band members and we don't have enough instruments or uniforms ready for them.

Since winning the Georgia State 7A Football Championship and being ranked number 4 in the nation, the buzz is all about Grayson. Our sponsors enjoy a level of social media attention through our active participation that, we believe, is far above the average high school association.

We are calling for tax deductible sponsorships early this year to ensure our local companies will have the opportunity to be in the spotlight for the 2017-18 season. You know, all eyes will be on Gwinnett County, so I would like to ask you to make a commitment to supporting the arts along with sports by sponsoring the Grayson High School Band. Our uniform down payment is due in April, so kindly keep that in mind when considering your donation.

Our website will tell you all about our capital fundraising event for new uniforms and new instruments because, if we are in the national spotlight, the band needs to represent Gwinnett County by looking their best. Any donation is appreciated, but please consider a leveled sponsorship so that you may benefit from our aggressive advertising program.

Thank you and Go Rams!
